India has unveiled a star-studded lineup for the upcoming Asian Kabaddi Championships 2023 tournament. The team includes renowned players such as Pawan Sehrawat, Naveen Kumar, Sachin Tanwar, and Sunil Kumar.

Scheduled to be held next month in Busan, Korea, the Asian Kabaddi Championships 2023 will showcase the best Pro Kabaddi League players from India. Notably, some prominent names like Pardeep Narwal, Sandeep Narwal, Deepak Niwas Hooda, and Maninder Singh are surprisingly absent from the squad.
Leading the raid attack will be Arjun Deshwal, who emerged as the top raider in Pro Kabaddi League Season 9. Joining him in the raiding department are Naveen Kumar, Pawan Sehrawat, Aslam Inamdar, and Mohit Goyat. The defensive lineup features seasoned players like Sunil Kumar, Parvesh Bhainswal, Nitin Rawal, Nitesh Kumar, and Surjeet Singh.

In preparation for the tournament, India has appointed two coaches: Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan, coach of the Jaipur Pink Panthers, and Ashan Kumar, coach of the Tamil Thalaivas. Additionally, the team management has chosen two standby players in case of injuries, namely right corner defender Shubham Shinde and all-rounder Vijay Malik. Bhaskaran Edachery, former head coach of the Tamil Thalaivas, will serve as the squad’s manager.
